     The history of hair combs and brushes dates back to thousands of years ago. It may look like a simple tool to maintain your hair but choosing the right one might not be that simple. The right hair comb or brush can help you maintain a healthy hair. So how do you choose the right one for you? It all depends on the length, thickness and texture of your hair.

     There are many types of hair brushes in the market. You can get the round hair brush, which is good to add curls and definitions to your hair. There's the vent hair brush which is mainly used with a hair dryer as it is made with holes in the middle to let the hot air pass through. Next you have the paddle hair brush which is meant for straightening medium to long hair which does not have much layering. Last but not least we have the cushion hair brush which massages the scalp.

     Hair brushes comes with different types of bristles, mainly the natural bristles and the nylon bristles. Natural bristle hair brush are gentler on your hair and it collects the dirt and oil from your hair. Nylon bristle hair brush on the other hand is harsh on your hair and rougher on your scalp. It might inflamed your hair follicles and tend to break your hair. So try to stay away from the nylon bristles.
